HOW WE MANAGE COVID-19

In the light of the current situation Kettering Osteopaths has changed the way we practice to follow guidance and advice from Public Health England and our professional organisations in order to see patients for osteopathic treatment.

If you or a member of your household is unwell or has symptoms of Covid-19 such as a new persistent cough, difficulty breathing or a fever, loss of sense of taste or smell, then we ask that you DO NOT attend the practice. If you are unsure whether it is appropriate for you to attend an appointment please contact the practice first.

We have modified our practice and workplace in light of what we now know about the Covid-19 virus. We are asking patients to wear a mask, respect social distancing in the waiting areas where possible, and to wash their hands or use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival for their appointment.

You should be aware that osteopathy is a “hands on” treatment, and therefore close personal contact is to be expected. We are taking all the relevant hygiene precautions that we can to minimise any risk to our patients. However, if you are in the vulnerable or shielded group, or live with someone who is, you may wish to discuss your individual circumstances before making an appointment.
